The first possibility to sight the new moon to begin the month of Dhul Hijjah is Saturday, August 11th which would result in Eid Al Adha falling on Tuesday, August 21st.  The second possibility for sighting is Sunday, August 12th which would result in Eid Al Adha falling on Wednesday, August 22nd.  However, it is ICF policy to follow the actual Hajj events to determine our observance of Eid Al Adha.  Therefore, insha’Allah, as soon as it is determined which date the Hajjis will be performing their Hajj rituals, we will update our announcement for the Eid.
